Many customers consider fuel consumption when choosing a generator set. Many users do not fully understand the numbers indicated in the parameters before making a choice. For example, a 5KW gasoline generator's fuel consumption might be marked as 540g/KW/h, which means 540g of fuel per kilowatt per hour. Many customers mistakenly think this means the generator consumes 540g per hour in total. Actually, it means 540g per kilowatt per hour at full load. So for a 5KW machine, it would be 5 times 540g. Of course, many customers feel that the generator consumes too much fuel based on this. But as I mentioned, this calculation is for full load. In reality, the fuel consumption is not that high because the generator and its equipment have a starting current. Generally, when you buy a 5KW gasoline generator, you won't use the full 5KW all the time. Also, if the power of your equipment is small, the generator's fuel consumption will only be about one-third.
So regarding the fuel consumption of generator sets, there is actually no need to worry too much.
